Description For Full Chip CAD and Analog Design Engineer

Google's Raxium display group is at the forefront of revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology, specifically designed for augmented reality (AR) and light-field display applications. This senior-level position requires an experienced professional with deep expertise in analog circuit design, capable of managing the entire design cycle for analog integrated circuits.

The role demands a comprehensive skill set in analog circuit design, from schematic capture and simulation to layout oversight and full chip tapeout. You'll be working with cutting-edge technology in a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab located in Silicon Valley. The position offers an attractive compensation package ranging from $183,000 to $271,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

As a Full Chip CAD and Analog Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and optimizing various analog circuits, managing complete analog design at the chip level, and collaborating with layout engineers to ensure precise implementation. Your duties will include performing comprehensive SPICE simulations, leading the design through the tapeout process, and participating in silicon bring-up activities.

The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of experience with analog circuit design principles and techniques, along with a strong educational background in Electrical Engineering. Preferred qualifications include experience in logic design, memory array design, and analog-digital mixed-mode simulation. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team aimed at disrupting next-generation display markets while being part of Google's innovative technology ecosystem.

This position is perfect for someone who wants to combine their deep technical expertise with the resources and scale of Google, while working on revolutionary display technology that will shape the future of augmented reality and digital displays. You'll be part of a team with startup roots, offering the best of both worlds: the innovation and agility of a startup with the stability and resources of a tech giant.
