Responsibilities For Full Custom Layout Automation Engineer, Silicon

  • Create high-performing, robust analog layouts while developing and implementing automation solutions
  • Develop full custom layout flow for industry standard tools (virtuoso, custom compiler)
  • Drive the development of array layout compiler
  • Develop automation/methodology to port the design/layout from legacy tools
  • Develop hierarchical layout methodology/flow
  • Create physical layouts for high-performance/low power analog designs

Requirements For Full Custom Layout Automation Engineer, Silicon

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in Physical design and layout design/flow development/automation
  • Experience in high-performance analog circuit layout
  • Experience in coding using perl, python, tcl scripting languages
