Google Cloud is seeking a Generative AI Technical Solutions Consultant to join their Applied AI Engineering/Cloud AI team. This role is crucial in developing and delivering large-scale GenAI solutions and reusable horizontal solutions accelerators. The position combines technical expertise in AI/ML with customer-facing consulting responsibilities.
The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies including Large Language Models (LLMs), Vertex AI, and Google's Gemini model. You'll be responsible for creating scalable solutions that enable GCP customers to deploy Generative AI applications efficiently and accurately. Key projects include developing reusable artifacts like "talk to docs", "talk to data", and "talk to code", as well as building automated prompt optimization tools.
As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you'll collaborate with various Google Cloud AI teams, including product, engineering, sales, and professional services. Your responsibilities will span from solving complex customer use cases to creating reusable assets and delivering training. The role requires both technical depth in AI/ML and strong communication skills to work effectively with customer stakeholders.
The ideal candidate brings a combination of technical expertise and consulting experience. You should have a strong foundation in Generative AI, LLMs, and Machine Learning, with practical programming experience in languages like Python or Java. Responsibilities For Generative AI Technical Solutions Consultant
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Google Cloud AI teams
- Solve complex customer use cases using Cloud AI conversational products
- Create reusable assets (e.g., code, toolkits, training)
- Deliver training for new product features or solutions
- Discuss functional, technical, and basic commercial topics with customer stakeholders
- Work closely with customer stakeholders as a trusted advisor
- Provide expert guidance on critical solution decisions
Requirements For Generative AI Technical Solutions Consultant
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
- 3 years of experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, and related frameworks
- 2 years of experience writing code in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java)
- Experience working with Cloud and AI Platforms
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields (preferred)
- Experience in Conversational AI, telecommunications, networking, or contact centers (preferred)
- Experience in consulting, technical consulting in a customer-facing role (preferred)
- Knowledge of other AI frameworks, products, or solutions such as TensorFlow (preferred)
- Ability to lead and organize the design and implementation of AI-based custom developed cloud solutions (preferred)
