As a Global Manufacturing Partner Manager at Google, you will play a crucial role in negotiating, supplying, and managing global Contract Manufacturers (CM)/Original Device Manufacturing (ODM) relationships. This position focuses on New Product Introduction (NPI) and involves close collaboration with Product Development teams and Engineers to ensure suppliers meet cost and schedule commitments.
You will be responsible for systems and products development in specific categories like Machine Learning, compute, networking, and storage. Understanding Google's roadmaps and managing early CM engagements is crucial. The role involves owning sourcing deliverables, negotiations, and CM relationships for assigned programs.

The position offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $126,000-$181,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. The role requires leading large cross-functional projects and resolving complex supply chain issues. You'll be part of a technical supply chain team driving continuous improvement and ensuring operational excellence to support Google's rapid growth.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical background with a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, proven experience in supplier management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment. Additional preferences include an MBA or Master's degree, experience with new product development, and a track record of managing CM partners for PCBA's and systems.
