Description For Global Supply Chain Manager, Display, Touch

Google's Devices & Services team is seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager for Display/Touch/FPS module to lead their authentication strategy and innovative display solutions. This role combines procurement expertise with technical knowledge in consumer electronics manufacturing. The position involves managing supplier relationships, leading RFI/RFQ processes, and serving as a key liaison between cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in global supply chain management, particularly in display technology and consumer electronics.

Responsibilities For Global Supply Chain Manager, Display, Touch

  • Manage supplier roadmap and new technology investigations
  • Lead program RFI/RFQ negotiations, supplier selection process and negotiate agreements
  • Actively participate and influence supplier and sourcing strategy and execution
  • Lead the communication with the cross-functional team and suppliers to resolve all issues
  • Manage suppliers to ensure material/supply availability and readiness for development builds and mass production

Requirements For Global Supply Chain Manager, Display, Touch

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain and Operations Management, Finance, Business or equivalent experience
  • 7 years of experience in multi-disciplinary procurement, leading strategy development, execution, and sourcing, or in a related field
  • 3 years of experience managing category strategies, sourcing teams across multiple categories
  • Experience with commodities such as display or other modules used on consumer products
  • Experience in Display Optics, MicroLED, or Display Engineering
  • Ability to demonstrate self-learning, negotiation, communication, sourcing, and collaboration skills
