Responsibilities For Global Transportation Operations Manager

  • Drive accountability of transportation network performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and trending analytics
  • Track, monitor, and identify opportunities to improve customer experience while optimizing expenses
  • Develop, plan, and execute the short- and long-term transportation strategic direction and subsequent transportation initiatives
  • Serve as the global transportation process and systems subject matter expert
  • Develop and implement programs, including creating and maintaining process improvement roadmap, project plan, business case/cost benefit tracker, training and communication plan

Requirements For Global Transportation Operations Manager

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience in supply chain and manufacturing, and with technical hardware
  • 8 years of experience in Transportation industry (i.e., Air, Sea, Express, Rail, Truck, etc.)
  • 5 years of experience in people management
  • Master's degree or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
  • 12 years of experience managing hardware supply chain (preferred)
  • 8 years of experience in agreement facilitation and supplier performance management (preferred)
  • Ability to work, influence, and resolve conflicts cross-functionally with internal/external partners (preferred)
