Google TV is revolutionizing the television experience by creating a highly personalized, intelligent, and content-forward platform. As a Technical Program Manager for Google TV, you'll be part of a team that's redefining how users access global media content. The role involves leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion, working with a product that serves over 110 million active users.

The position requires collaboration with various Google teams including Ads, Play, and YouTube, as well as external partners in the OEM ecosystem and streaming services. You'll be responsible for managing cross-functional projects, translating stakeholder needs into actionable goals, and ensuring successful program execution in the rapidly evolving media and entertainment industry.

Google TV is focused on scaling across the OEM ecosystem, working closely with third-party streaming partners, and building a robust business across TV platforms, OTT devices, and mobile devices. Responsibilities For Google TV Technical Program Manager

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact
  • Prioritize program goals, understand and translate other stakeholders' needs into program goals and prioritized deliverables
  • Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported programs
  • Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations
  • Identify, communicate, and collaborate with stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals
  • Build, maintain and enhance business, operational, and management dashboards

Requirements For Google TV Technical Program Manager

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program management
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
  • Experience with software development life-cycle principles and agile execution
  • Experience working with products
  • English proficiency is required
