Description For Group Product Manager, Cloud Spanner

Google Cloud's Cloud Spanner is an enterprise-grade, globally distributed, strongly consistent database built for the cloud, offering relational semantics at scale. As a Group Product Manager, you'll be at the forefront of database innovation, working with Google's cutting-edge technology that powers most services on Google and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

In this role, you'll enable businesses to deliver scalable, secure, performant, and reliable solutions without managing large-scale distributed databases. You'll provide leadership for one of the most innovative database systems while working cross-functionally with engineers, designers, marketers, and other stakeholders.

The position requires a deep understanding of database technologies, market trends, and customer requirements. You'll shape product strategy, interact with customers and partners, drive product development, and lead Go-To-Market initiatives. This is an opportunity to impact millions of users while working with Google Cloud, which serves customers in more than 200 countries.

As part of Google's product management team, you'll guide products from conception to launch by bridging technical and business worlds. You'll work in an environment that values continuous adaptation and innovation, collaborating with creative teams to develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. The role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking, making it perfect for someone who wants to lead the future of cloud database technology.
