Responsibilities For Group Product Manager, Compute, Google Cloud

  • Drive new capabilities for VMware instances in cloud including roadmap planning and business growth forecasting
  • Work on product strategy for VMware instance and present to key leadership
  • Work across hardware, software, research and product teams towards long term product goals
  • Drive new capabilities in foundational compute Infrastructure layer
  • Define and drive go-to-market strategies for product launches

Requirements For Group Product Manager, Compute, Google Cloud

Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies
  • Master's degree or PhD (preferred)
  • Experience in compute architecture, data center infrastructure, CPU and I/O technologies
  • Knowledge of different workload requirements and their demands on infrastructure
