Google Cloud is seeking an experienced Group Product Manager to lead their Databases & Analytics initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of technical innovation and business strategy, working with Google Cloud's enterprise-grade solutions that leverage cutting-edge technology. The role demands a strategic mind who can translate complex technical concepts into valuable business solutions. You'll be responsible for guiding products from conception to launch, working closely with engineering, UX/UI, sales, and other stakeholders. The position requires deep technical knowledge in databases, analytics, and big data, combined with strong product management expertise.

As a Group Product Manager, you'll lead the development of product roadmaps, own PRDs, and drive product vision that supports the overall narrative and direction of Google Cloud's database and analytics solutions. You'll be responsible for market validation, metrics tracking, and ensuring product success through both quantitative and qualitative measures.

The compensation package is highly competitive, with a base salary range of $214,000-$305,000, plus additional benefits including bonus and equity opportunities. The role offers the chance to work at Google's premier locations in either San Francisco, Kirkland, or Sunnyvale, collaborating with some of the industry's brightest minds.

Requirements For Group Product Manager, Databases & Analytics, Google Cloud

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • Experience developing or launching products or technologies within databases, analytics, big data, or related area
  • Master's degree in technology or business related field (preferred)
  • 7 years of experience working cross-functionally (preferred)
  • 5 years of experience in software development or engineering (preferred)
