Description For Group Product Manager, Machine Learning Frameworks Applied Ecosystem

Google is seeking a Group Product Manager to lead their Machine Learning Frameworks Applied Ecosystem team. This role is crucial in developing ML Frameworks that enable developers to leverage models and innovations across internal and external AI ecosystems. The position focuses on Keras while collaborating with teams working on JAX, PyTorch, and serving technologies.

The role is part of Core ML's mission to drive ML excellence for Google and the world, making ML development more accessible for Google and all developers. You'll work at the intersection of Google's research and product areas, accelerating ML innovation across all of Google's products.

As a Group Product Manager, you'll be responsible for understanding both internal and external ML developer workflows, engaging with Google product teams and the broader community, and driving strategy for machine learning stack tooling. The position requires strong leadership skills to influence executive decisions and provide thought leadership on ML ecosystem strategy.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in product management with a strong technical background in AI/ML. You'll need to demonstrate success in taking technical products from conception to launch and have deep knowledge of Generative AI or Large Language Models.

Requirements For Group Product Manager, Machine Learning Frameworks Applied Ecosystem

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • Experience with the domain area of Generative AI or Large Language Models
  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field (preferred)
  • 6 years of experience in full life-cycle product management and delivery (preferred)
  • 3 years of experience with AI/ML model or tooling development (preferred)
  • 3 years of experience with engineering (preferred)
