Description For Hardware System Integration Engineer

As a Hardware System Integration Engineer, you'll be part of a diverse team developing custom silicon solutions for Google's direct-to-consumer products. Responsibilities For Hardware System Integration Engineer

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and select components and new technologies
  • Lead new design concepts and features through exploration, prototyping, and implementation
  • Create system specifications and plan/lead validation of designs
  • Drive resolution of cross-functional issues related to architecture, production, and development
  • Work with and manage suppliers/manufacturing partners

Requirements For Hardware System Integration Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience with system development in consumer electronics/embedded design
  • Experience with SOC/MCU, power systems, and sensor integration (preferred)
  • Experience with communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, MIPI-DSI) (preferred)
  • Experience with system integration between hardware and software domains (preferred)
  • Experience working with OEM/ODM/JDM/CM partners (preferred)
