You'll also generate implementation plans and provide technical expertise during deployment activities.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field, or equivalent practical experience. You should have at least 1 year of experience working in a data center technical environment or an advanced degree. Experience with standard networking protocols, various cabling and interconnect technologies, and Linux is required.
Preferred qualifications include 3 years of experience in a data center or networking operation center environment, understanding of computer systems and network design, ability to read and write code in Python or a scripting language, and excellent time management skills.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $102,000-$150,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Google is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce, providing equal employment opportunities regardless of background.
