Google's Raxium Operations team is at the forefront of manufacturing proprietary and state-of-the-art microLED displays at their semiconductor fabrication facility in Fremont. The team has developed revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, particularly for Augmented Reality (AR) and light-field display applications.

As an Industrial Engineer, you'll be joining a dynamic team that pushes boundaries in developing custom silicon solutions powering Google's direct-to-consumer products. You'll play a crucial role in optimizing production efficiency, capacity utilization, and workforce management in their leading-edge display technology semiconductor fabrication facility.

Responsibilities For Industrial Engineer, Semiconductor Fab

  • Support development of capacity models and analyze production metrics
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to manage master production schedules
  • Work with leadership to develop systems for capacity planning and labor modeling
  • Develop and maintain labor models and time studies to forecast staffing requirements
  • Generate actionable insights using statistical software and data visualization techniques

Requirements For Industrial Engineer, Semiconductor Fab

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of Industrial Engineering experience in semiconductor fabrication environment
  • Experience with capacity planning in a semiconductor fab
  • Experience building and implementing new systems/processes from scratch
  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (preferred)
  • 3 years experience using data analysis tools (JMP, advanced spreadsheets), MES, data extraction and Fab operational reporting system (preferred)
  • 2 years experience with labor modeling and workforce planning (preferred)
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing/Six Sigma (preferred)
  • Experience with end-to-end project management (preferred)
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills (preferred)
