Responsibilities For Lab Equipment Manager, Product Integrity Engineering

  • Oversee global calibration and maintenance programs, ensuring timely equipment upkeep and budget management
  • Lead lab fit-up and construction projects, providing guidance for international projects and documenting processes
  • Manage Equipment and Facilities technicians, providing training and ensuring emergency response readiness
  • Optimize lab consumables purchasing, implementing inventory management and simplifying processes
  • Maintain and improve the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring accurate equipment and supply tracking

Requirements For Lab Equipment Manager, Product Integrity Engineering

  • Bachelor's degree in Hardware Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience in applying Design for Reliability techniques
  • Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX, etc.)
  • Experience with network troubleshooting
  • Experience with environmental chamber support and repair
  • Working knowledge of Good Lab Practices (GLP)
  • Ability to specify and install test equipment and safety equipment
  • Ability to enforce OSHA requirements
  • Independent, detail oriented, and effective verbal/written communicator
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for work, including international travel
