The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $227,000-$320,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. As a leader, you'll guide a team of product managers, working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and content moderation. You'll be responsible for developing product strategies, metrics tracking, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, legal, and UX.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in product management and trust & safety, with a proven track record of launching technical products and managing teams. Responsibilities For Lead Group Product Manager, YouTube Trust and Safety

  • Lead a team of product managers
  • Lead a team through defining, identifying, collecting, and tracking appropriate product or business metrics
  • Create product requirements, co-lead product design and development and own product roadmaps
  • Lead collaboration with engineering, marketing, legal, User Experience (UX), and other teams on cutting edge technologies

Requirements For Lead Group Product Manager, YouTube Trust and Safety

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 10 years of experience in trust and safety at a technology company
  • 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership
  • Master's degree or PhD in a technology or business related field (preferred)
  • 7 years of experience working cross-functionally (preferred)
  • 5 years of experience in software development or engineering (preferred)
