Lead Senior Engineering Analyst, AI Safety

Google's Trust & Safety team is seeking a Lead Senior Engineering Analyst to join their AI Safety Protections team. This role focuses on developing and implementing AI/LLM-powered solutions to ensure the safety of Generative AI across Google's products. The position involves working with cutting-edge AI technologies, including Gemini, Juno, and Veo, in collaboration with Google DeepMind.

The role requires a strong background in data analysis, project management, and machine learning systems. You'll be responsible for identifying and preventing fraud and abuse, improving automated systems, and developing scalable safety solutions for AI products. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in data analysis and project management, with expertise in programming languages like SQL, Python, R, or C++.

As part of the Trust & Safety team, you'll work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to protect users and partners from abuse across various Google products. The team is dedicated to making the internet safer and maintaining user trust through bold solutions in areas such as malware, spam, and account hijacking.

The position offers competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $139,000-$207,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
