Google Cloud is seeking a Leadership Technical Program Manager to join their Data Analytics team, one of the fastest-growing areas in Google Cloud. This role combines technical expertise with program management excellence, focusing on delivering solutions that accelerate customer success in the cloud. The position requires a seasoned professional with 10 years of machine learning experience and proven leadership capabilities.
The role involves managing complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects within Google Cloud's extensive portfolio of leading products in messaging, data transformation, and analytics/visualization. You'll be responsible for planning requirements with internal customers and guiding projects through their entire lifecycle, while managing schedules and identifying risks.
As a Technical Program Manager, you'll need to bridge the gap between technical and business aspects, being equally comfortable discussing technical trade-offs with engineers and presenting analyses to executives. The position demands strong communication skills and the ability to mobilize cross-functional teams effectively.

Responsibilities For Leadership Technical Program Manager, Data Analytics, Google Cloud
- Set the goal and direction for a program by outlining goals and objectives, evaluating and running multiple projects, organizing cross-project work within the program, and defining program controls/governance/standards
- Drive consistency between Cloud processes and central processes. Bring visibility and strengthen communication across the teams
- Enable execution across multiple teams and drive delivery across the complete portfolio of Cloud products and solutions
- Engage with engineering directors, product leaders and other technical program manger groups, to streamline processes, simplify execution, manage objectives and key results (OKRs), release on time, bring tooling for efficiencies and help the teams
Requirements For Leadership Technical Program Manager, Data Analytics, Google Cloud
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience in machine learning
- 7 years of experience in leadership roles with/without direct reports
- 5 years of experience managing projects
- 5 years of experience in data and analytics portfolio
- 10 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects
- Experience in change management, program management tooling, and new tooling roll-out
- Ability to tailor communication style, from executives to individual engineers
