Manufacturing Hardware Technical Lead

Google's Manufacturing Operations team is seeking a Manufacturing Hardware Technical Lead to join their team responsible for delivering state-of-the-art physical infrastructure. This role is crucial in evaluating product designs and creating processes, tools, and procedures that power Google's technology. You'll work directly with vendors during parts manufacturing, ensuring processes are repeatable and controlled. The position involves close collaboration with Commodity Managers and Design Engineers to determine infrastructure needs and product specifications.

As part of the Technical Infrastructure team, you'll be instrumental in maintaining and developing Google's data centers and building next-generation platforms. The role requires a strong background in hardware manufacturing, test system implementation, and project management. You'll lead custom test systems development, partner with engineering teams, and drive technical discussions with JDM partners.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of relevant experience, strong technical expertise in board manufacturing and system integration, and excellent leadership skills. You'll be working in Taipei, Taiwan, contributing to Google's powerful computing infrastructure that serves users worldwide.
