Responsibilities For Manufacturing Test Development Engineer, Google Cloud

  • Lead and implement the system firmware and software development for next-generation test cards and systems
  • Design and implement tools for automating diagnostics, performance evaluation, and reliability assurance
  • Design and implement solutions for collecting and analyzing metrics for storage products in the cloud infrastructure
  • Define the manufacturing test strategy for new products and work with partners to develop test solutions
  • Support manufacturing test software for new and existing hardware designs
  • Write test plans and drive test coverage based on product requirements

Requirements For Manufacturing Test Development Engineer, Google Cloud

Python
Java
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience developing with Python, Java or C++
  • Experience in managing suppliers and partners in implementing design requirements
  • 2 years of experience with software/firmware (preferred)
  • Experience in development of manufacturing test software (preferred)
  • Experience in development of software test solutions for complex computing, storage, and networking products (preferred)
  • Ability to generate product-specific test plans and execute testing accordingly
  • Ability to communicate clearly with contract manufacturers and peers in worldwide geographies
  • Excellent leadership, investigative, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, creative and strategic skills
