Responsibilities For Mechatronics Engineer, Data Center Automation Services

  • Operate independently within a project, providing technical expertise on projects while being responsible for the implementation of control system solutions and their maintenance/improvement
  • Work with Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Control Systems Engineers, and Software Engineers to define technical requirements and influence project direction
  • Plan strategic work for yourself and the broader team including direct work responsibilities for similar engineers and vendors/contractors
  • Be responsible for engineering/technical direction-setting for a project and the team as a technical leader for projects of large size, scope, and complexity

Requirements For Mechatronics Engineer, Data Center Automation Services

Python
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience designing and testing multiple subsystems and systems (e.g., software, robotics algorithms, electrical systems, mechanical systems, control systems)
  • 3 years of experience with industrial electrical control system components and system design, and regional industrial and safety standards (e.g., ISO, NFPA, RIA, ANSI, ETC)
  • Experience in software development (e.g., C++, C#, or Python)
  • Experience with cloud-based software technologies
  • Experience with standards-based practices in Safety and Electrical
  • Experience with industrial vision systems
  • Experience using electronic and mechanical fabrication and test equipment
