Metro Network Deployment Engineer, Network Delivery Implementation

Google is seeking a Metro Network Deployment Engineer to join their Network Team, focusing on the deployment, maintenance, and operations of private data networks worldwide. This role is crucial in managing the implementation of network infrastructure in Google's data centers and metro points of presence globally.

The position involves working closely with Technical Program Managers, Network Engineers, Design and Infrastructure Engineers, and Field Engineers, as well as external vendors and contractors. The role requires strong technical expertise in network engineering, particularly in DWDM and TCP/IP protocols. You'll be working at the edge of Google's network where it connects to users, managing the full lifecycle of space, power, and network assets. This includes everything from site acquisition to construction and network delivery.
