Responsibilities For MicroLED Device Engineer

  • Develop high-performance micro-LED emitters from end to end: from physical concepts and design to demonstrating device performance and manufacturability
  • Develop advanced metrology: implement novel setups to improve the physical understanding and the performance of micro-LED emitters
  • Analyze large experimental datasets to extract trends and improve device performance and yield
  • Interact with teams including epitaxy, process engineering, characterization and test

Requirements For MicroLED Device Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience working in Opto-electronics, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree
  • Experience with optical setups, semiconductor optics and data analysis
  • PhD or equivalent in Applied Physics, Materials Science, Optoelectronics, or a related discipline (preferred)
  • 5 years of experience in optoelectronic device physics, semiconductor optics and spectroscopy, semiconductor processing (preferred)
  • Understanding of optical properties such as light extraction/wave optics (preferred)
  • Expertise in analyzing overall device performance and in handling complex datasets (preferred)
