Network Implementation Engineer

Google is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer to join their Global Networking team, playing a crucial role in executing the deployment, maintenance, and operations of private data networks worldwide. As a Network Implementation Engineer, you'll be the initial point of contact for network deployment efforts, collaborating with Technical Program Managers, Network Engineers, Design and Infrastructure Engineers, and Field Engineers, as well as external vendors and contractors.

The position is based in Atlanta, GA, and requires 3 years of experience in DWDM, TCP/IP, or system design operations methodology. You'll be responsible for building and operating Google's network at scale, ensuring reliability and cost-effectiveness. The role involves monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining comprehensive network documentation.

The Network Team at Google owns the full lifecycle of space, power, and network assets in all of Google's data centers and metro points of presence globally. From site acquisition to construction and network delivery, you'll be involved in every aspect of network infrastructure management. This includes architecture, design, installation, configuration, activation, and commissioning.
