Google is forming a new Submarine cable organization focused on building and operating global infrastructure to support Google Global Networking growth. As an Operations Data and Quality Program Manager Lead, you'll be responsible for leading complex technical programs related to submarine cable operations and maintenance. Responsibilities For Operations Data and Quality Program Manager Lead, Global Marine Operations

  • Own design, delivery and implementation of E2E Operational Readiness Testing program
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver Network Operations related programs
  • Ensure Network Operations processes are aligned with best practices and industry standards
  • Gather and collate Data and Analytics to drive operational efficiency
  • Leverage data analytics to identify, create and establish measures of operational excellence

Requirements For Operations Data and Quality Program Manager Lead, Global Marine Operations

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Data Sciences or, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in operations, with a focus on data analytics and performance quality and operational excellence
  • 5 years of experience leading technical programs, project management
  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
  • 7 years of experience in the extended workforce industry
  • Understanding of marine maintenance and operations of submarine cables
  • Excellent communication skills with analytical thinking capabilities
