Optical Transport Network Implementation Engineer, GNI Network Health

Google's Network Delivery team seeks an Optical Transport Network Implementation Engineer to lead the deployment and operations of private data networks worldwide. This role is crucial in managing metro and long-haul optical line system builds/decoms and network inventory. You'll work with Technical Program Managers, Network Engineers, and various stakeholders to build the world's most reliable and scalable network.

As part of the Network Delivery team, you'll be responsible for creating bills of materials and deployment packages for optical systems, recommending physical infrastructure changes, and utilizing standard tools and processes to complete metro optical network projects. The role involves working with field operation technicians, engineers, contractors, and vendors in a telecommunications environment.

The position offers a comprehensive compensation package including a competitive base salary range of $111,000-$163,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. You'll be part of Google's mission to provide network services to millions of Internet users worldwide, working specifically on metro networks where Google connects to its users.

This role is perfect for someone with strong experience in DWDM or TCP/IP systems, with a background in network engineering or telecommunications.
