Description For Outbound Product Manager, Apigee, Google Cloud

Google Cloud is seeking an Outbound Product Manager for their Apigee team to drive product innovation and customer success. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of API management and innovation, working with Google Cloud's cutting-edge technology. You'll be responsible for organizing and protecting APIs across various environments including Google Cloud (Apigee X), other clouds (Apigee Hybrid), and disconnected environments (Apigee on Google Distributed Cloud).

The role combines technical expertise with business acumen, requiring you to work cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and marketers to guide products from conception to launch. You'll be instrumental in providing a curated catalog of APIs for Large Language Models (LLM) and leveraging AI methodologies to protect and manage APIs.

As part of Google's Product Management team, you'll break down complex problems into actionable steps that drive product development. Requirements For Outbound Product Manager, Apigee, Google Cloud

Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies
  • Master's degree in Technology or Business related field (preferred)
  • Experience with developing innovative, industry-leading technology products
  • Experience with operating in a hyper-growth/entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience with translating commercial business models into technical solutions
  • Experience in influencing cross-functional decisions
