Google Public Sector is seeking a Partner Development Manager to drive partnerships in the federal market. This role is crucial in bridging Google's innovative solutions with government and education sectors. The position offers a competitive base salary range of $138,000-$207,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles, with a strong background in public sector partner ecosystems. You'll be responsible for identifying and managing partner opportunities, driving sales activities, and serving as the primary point of contact between partners and Google's internal teams.

Key responsibilities include selecting appropriate partners for opportunities, developing business insights for the Sales team, coordinating demand generation activities, and ensuring successful implementation of partner resources. You'll work in a dynamic environment that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to present to executive leadership.

Responsibilities For Partner Development Manager, Federal, Public Sector

  • Identify the right Google partner for each opportunity from the portfolio of partners, and suggest opportunities for partner sourced agreements
  • Set the partner business insight for your Sales team and identify which partners are industry or workload aligned
  • Drive demand generation activities with partners through events, campaigns, and an industry focused plan
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Sales and Partner Management teams to discuss the joint plan with the partner
  • Commit partner resources to product business and implementation for customers
  • Report on all partner business activity and work closely with Sales and Partner Management teams

Requirements For Partner Development Manager, Federal, Public Sector

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders
  • Experience with Public Sector partner ecosystems, agile partners, global system integrators (GSIs), system integrators (SIs), managed service providers (MSPs) or independent software vendors (ISVs)
  • Master's Degree (preferred)
  • Experience managing sales opportunities in a dynamic and highly matrixed environment (preferred)
  • Experience working with Partners in the Federal market (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to multiple audiences including leadership and C-suite teams (preferred)
