The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, with options for both in-office work in locations like Reston, VA and Austin, TX, as well as remote work opportunities in select states.

Key responsibilities include identifying and matching the right Google partners with opportunities, developing business insights for the Sales team, and coordinating demand generation activities. The role requires strong collaboration with internal teams and the ability to manage complex partner relationships.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and have significant experience with public sector partner ecosystems. They should be comfortable engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders, and have excellent communication skills for presenting to multiple audiences including C-suite teams.

Responsibilities For Partner Development Manager, SLED, Public Sector

  • Identify the right Google partner for each opportunity from the portfolio of partners
  • Set the partner business insight for Sales team and identify partners for demand generation activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Sales and Partner Management teams
  • Commit partner resources to product business and implementation for customers
  • Report on all partner business activity and work closely with Sales and Partner Management teams

Requirements For Partner Development Manager, SLED, Public Sector

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders
  • Experience with Public Sector partner ecosystems, agile partners, global system integrators (GSIs), system integrators (SIs), managed service providers (MSPs) or independent software vendors (ISVs)
  • Master's Degree (preferred)
  • Experience managing sales opportunities in a dynamic and matrixed environment (preferred)
  • Experience working with Partners in the SLED market (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills (preferred)
