Google Cloud is seeking a Partner Engineer specializing in Data Analytics to join their team in Bogotá, Colombia. This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and customer success, where you'll work closely with sales teams as a data analytics subject matter expert to showcase Google Cloud's capabilities to customers.

As a Partner Engineer, you'll be instrumental in helping prospective and existing customers understand and harness the power of Google Cloud's data analytics solutions. Your role will involve developing creative cloud solutions, architecting systems to solve complex business challenges, and engaging in proof-of-concepts. You'll be particularly focused on database migrations, data backends, and all aspects of the data lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing role, along with deep expertise in Big Data technologies. You'll need to be equally comfortable diving into technical details and presenting to executive stakeholders. Your day-to-day will involve working with cutting-edge Google Cloud products, conducting technical discovery sessions, and architecting solutions that meet specific customer requirements.

Responsibilities For Partner Engineer, Data Analytics, Google Cloud

  • Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities related to data life-cycle
  • Share in-depth data analytics expertise to support technical relationship with customers
  • Identify business and technical requirements, conduct technical discovery and architect client solutions
  • Work with Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations
  • Prepare and deliver sales messaging to highlight Google Cloud value proposition

Requirements For Partner Engineer, Data Analytics, Google Cloud

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role
  • Experience with Big Data technologies or concepts (analytics warehousing, data processing, data transformation, data governance, migrations, ETL, ELT, SQL, NoSQL)
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders
  • Experience in technical sales or consulting in cloud computing, data analytics, or Big Data
  • Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, batch/real-time processing, streaming, data visualization tools
  • Experience with architecture design, implementing, tuning, schema design and query optimization
