We achieve this by meeting partners and consumers where they are with support and help, representing their needs with our product partners and proposing fixes and features that elevate their engagement with Google's diverse product ecosystem.

The gUP Gemini and Assistant Partner Engineering team is at the forefront of building scalable solutions for 1P/3P partners to create a Gemini and Assistant experience to support partner and user needs.

As a Partner Engineer for gUP Gemini and Assistant, you will:

  • Drive new technical partner integrations within Gemini, ensuring a frictionless partner experience, improve existing partner/user experience and grow user value.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Gemini through Large Language Model (LLM)-based solutions/processes for partner schema ingestion, data preparation and quality iterations.
  • Influence product strategy and work with cross-functional teams to bring partner-facing features to market.
  • Advocate seamless partner and user experience and advocate for user and partner success with engineering and product teams.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and latest machine learning research, tools and techniques.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $118,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits, determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and location. Responsibilities For Partner Engineer, gUP Gemini and Assistant

  • Drive new technical partner integrations within Gemini, ensuring a frictionless partner experience, improve existing partner/user experience and grow user value.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Gemini through Large Language Model (LLM)-based solutions/processes (e.g., tools/collabs) for partner schema ingestion, data preparation and quality iterations (prompt engineering, running evals, loss bucket analysis, Statement of Financial Transactions (SFT) data points).
  • Influence product strategy and work with cross-functional teams to bring partner-facing features to market.
  • Advocate seamless partner and user experience and advocate for user and partner success with engineering and product teams.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and latest machine learning research, tools and techniques.

Requirements For Partner Engineer, gUP Gemini and Assistant

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience with Python and C++, and experience in web technologies and technical troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Machine Learning (RAG, fine tuning, prompt engineering, etc.).
