Join Google Cloud as a Partner Engineer specializing in Security, where you'll play a crucial role in growing and supporting the Google Cloud security partner ecosystem. This senior position requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture and cybersecurity solutions, combining technical expertise with partner relationship management.

In this role, you'll work closely with Partner Development Managers and Partner Engineers to strengthen Google Cloud's security partner network. Your responsibilities include enabling partners with technical knowledge, supporting customer adoption of Google Cloud security solutions, and ensuring successful implementation of cloud initiatives from proof of concept to deployment.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of cloud architecture experience in partner-facing roles, with strong capabilities in presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders. You'll need expertise in cloud migration, security architectures, and a proven track record of working with virtualization and containerization platforms.

Responsibilities For Partner Engineer, Security, Google Cloud

  • Enable partners in prototyping and demonstrating product integrations
  • Guide customers through assessments of their existing application environments
  • Recommend and review integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure
  • Work with Partner Managers and Partner Engineers to identify and recruit partners
  • Onboard partners to the marketplace
  • Build technical assets, collaborate with partners to develop Google Cloud-specific solution documentation
  • Scale customer wins through partners by promoting the partner with account teams

Requirements For Partner Engineer, Security, Google Cloud

Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience with cloud architecture in a partner-facing or support role
  • Experience in participating and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders
  • Experience designing and building architectures and migrating workloads to cloud environments
  • Experience in working with technologies or solutions related to the cybersecurity industry
  • Experience with virtualization or containerization platforms
  • Experience with Google Cloud solutions and cybersecurity solutions and concepts
  • Experience with networking and security concepts
