Responsibilities For Partner Engineering Manager, Security, Google Cloud

  • Lead a team of high performing Partner Engineers and extended teams, focusing on team culture, talent strategy, and skills development
  • Support Partner Engineers to enable system integrator (SI) and Independent Software Vendors (ISV) partner technical teams
  • Partner with business leadership to define the technical go-to-market strategy and execution plan
  • Work cross-functionally across Google, partners, and your team to resolve technical roadblocks

Requirements For Partner Engineering Manager, Security, Google Cloud

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience with cloud architecture in a partner-facing or support role
  • 3 years of experience leading teams in a technical partner-facing role within professional services or Sales Engineering
  • Experience in cybersecurity matters (threat detection, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, Identity and Access Management systems)
  • Experience with software lifecycles, building tools, and architecting and developing software for scalable, distributed systems
  • Experience managing a team through sales processes, operations and career development
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders
  • Experience building strategic business partnerships
