Description For Partner Event Manager, gReach Program for People with Disabilities (English, Japanese)

The gReach Program at Google is a unique 12-month paid upskilling initiative designed specifically for industry professionals with disabilities. This role as Partner Event Manager is part of Google Cloud Platform team, where you'll be responsible for planning and executing partner events. The position offers hands-on experience in event management while working with Google's advanced data and analytics solutions.

As a Partner Event Manager, you'll be at the intersection of partner relations and event execution, working closely with various teams to create impactful events. The role requires both Japanese and English fluency, making it a truly global position. You'll be responsible for everything from strategic planning to tactical execution of events, including venue selection, budget management, and performance tracking.

Responsibilities For Partner Event Manager, gReach Program for People with Disabilities (English, Japanese)

  • Collaborate closely with the partner managers, partner engineers, and partner marketing team to develop event strategies
  • Manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including venue selection, business agreement negotiation, logistics, budget management
  • Create innovative event formats and content that resonate with target audience
  • Track and analyze event performance metrics
  • Foster strong relationships with partners through effective communication

Requirements For Partner Event Manager, gReach Program for People with Disabilities (English, Japanese)

  • 1 year of experience planning and executing end to end online/offline events
  • Experience using Google Workspace or other productivity tools
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently
  • Must have a government-issued disability certificate
