Description For Partner Solutions Engineer, Digitalization Operations

Google's gTech Users and Products (gUP) team is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer to join their Digitalization Operations. This role is crucial in advocating for Google's users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. The position combines technical expertise with partner management, focusing on designing and implementing internal tools for digitization services.

As a Partner Solutions Engineer, you'll be at the intersection of technical implementation and operational efficiency. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies to maintain and improve tools and hardware infrastructure, particularly in Videotape and Flat Object Scanning Operations. Responsibilities For Partner Solutions Engineer, Digitalization Operations

  • Design, implement, test and launch internal tools for gTech digitization services
  • Maintain existing tools and hardware infrastructure in Videotape and Flat Object Scanning Operations and work with the regional technicians team
  • Develop internal databases, reports, and tools to support operations
  • Analyze work processes to plan inefficiencies and opportunities for automation
  • Collaborate with a global team of support engineers, software developers and operations staff to support a wide range of projects beyond video tape scanning

Requirements For Partner Solutions Engineer, Digitalization Operations

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP)
  • Experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++ or Python)
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal or external partners or customers
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience in an analytical role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics (preferred)
  • Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) (preferred)
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments or cloud data engineering (preferred)
  • Experience working with systems (e.g., Linux or Unix) (preferred)
