Responsibilities For Principal Architect, Banking and Financial Services, Google Cloud
- Build trusted advisory relationships with strategic accounts and engage with Architects, VP Engineering, CTO and CIO
- Identify customer priorities, technical objections, and design strategies
- Provide domain knowledge around public cloud and enterprise technology
- Promote Google Cloud with customers, at conferences, and online
- Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure
- Manage holistic enterprise architecture relationship with customers
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events up to 50% of the time
Requirements For Principal Architect, Banking and Financial Services, Google Cloud
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or in a customer-facing role
- Experience with cloud market and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders
- Experience in building, architecting, designing, and implementing distributed global cloud-based systems
- Experience with enterprise architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments
- Experience supporting the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance industries
- Experience in enterprise technology buying and evaluation process
