Google Cloud Platform is seeking a Principal Architect to lead cross-functional teams in helping customers design, plan, implement, and govern enterprise cloud strategies. You'll work directly with senior stakeholders, including CTOs and CIOs, to drive cloud adoption and digital transformation.
As a Principal Architect, you'll be instrumental in shaping how businesses leverage Google Cloud's cutting-edge technology. The role requires deep expertise in cloud computing, enterprise architecture, and the ability to translate complex technical solutions into business value. You'll be part of Google Cloud's mission to accelerate digital transformation across industries, working with customers in over 200 countries.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of enterprise architecture experience, strong technical knowledge of cloud platforms, and excellent communication skills. You'll need to be comfortable with up to 50% travel, engaging with clients at various levels, and leading technical discussions that drive business outcomes. Responsibilities For Principal Architect, Hi-Tech and Manufacturing, Google Cloud
- Build trusted advisory relationships with accounts and engage with Architects, VP Engineering, CTO and CIO
- Provide domain expertise around public cloud and enterprise technology
- Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure
- Manage enterprise architecture relationship with customers by collaborating with specialists and teams
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events (up to 50% of time)
Requirements For Principal Architect, Hi-Tech and Manufacturing, Google Cloud
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role
- Experience in cloud market insights and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders
- Experience with structured enterprise architecture practices and hybrid cloud deployments
- Experience in enterprise technology buying and evaluation process
- Experience in Hi-Tech and Manufacturing industries
