As a Principal Architect, you'll lead cross-functional teams to design and implement enterprise cloud strategies, working directly with C-level executives and technical leaders.
The position requires a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture within cloud computing environments. You'll be responsible for building trusted advisory relationships with strategic accounts, providing domain expertise in public cloud and enterprise technology, and making critical recommendations on integration strategies and enterprise architectures.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in structured enterprise architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration roadmaps. You'll need to demonstrate strong abilities in building and implementing highly distributed global cloud-based systems, while staying current with emerging technologies in the Cloud/IT space.

Responsibilities For Principal Architect, Telecommunications, Google Cloud
- Build trusted advisory relationships with strategic accounts and engage with Architects, VP Engineering, C-level executives
- Provide domain expertise around public cloud and enterprise technology
- Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure
- Manage enterprise architecture relationship with customers by collaborating with specialists, product management, and technical teams
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required
Requirements For Principal Architect, Telecommunications, Google Cloud
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect in a cloud computing environment or a customer-facing role
- Experience in, or supporting, the telecommunications industry
- Experience with structured enterprise architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps
- Experience in enterprise technology buying and evaluation process
- Experience in building, architecting, designing and implementing highly distributed global cloud-based systems
- Knowledge of technology solutions and emerging technologies in Cloud/IT space
- Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally
- Ability to drive and influence audiences
