Description For Product Manager, Cloud FinOps

Google Cloud is seeking a Product Manager for their Cloud FinOps team to drive innovation in cloud financial operations. This role combines technical expertise with business acumen, requiring 5 years of product management experience and strong SQL skills. The position is based in Waterloo, ON, and involves working with cross-functional teams across multiple locations.

As a Product Manager, you'll be responsible for guiding products from conception to launch, focusing on improving cloud customer experience through better support and billing solutions. You'll work closely with developers, program managers, and UX teams to implement requirements and transform PRDs into actionable OKRs. Success in this role will be measured through key metrics including CSAT, Monthly Adoption, Monthly Retention Rate, and total cost savings.

The role offers an opportunity to shape Google Cloud's FinOps customer experiences, making it a compelling choice for customers' innovation platforms. You'll collaborate with product and development leaders across Waterloo, Seattle, and Sunnyvale to define roadmap and product strategy. Responsibilities For Product Manager, Cloud FinOps

  • Work with partner teams during product design and development to implement requirements to turn PRDs into OKRs for one or more teams
  • Improve the support and billing experience for all cloud customers, working with Design and developer stakeholders
  • Work with PM and developing Productivity leaders in Waterloo, Seattle, and Sunnyvale, to set roadmap and product strategy
  • Execute and deliver FinOps customer experiences that differentiate Google Cloud
  • Contribute to extending inclusive product and developing culture

Requirements For Product Manager, Cloud FinOps

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • Enterprise Product Management experience
  • Experience in SQL
