Responsibilities For Product Manager, Cloud Monitoring and Monarch

  • Develop and own parts of the product idea, strategy, roadmap, success criteria and execution for Monarch and Cloud Monitoring features
  • Define product requirements and detailed specifications for product features
  • Meet regularly with Google Services teams to understand their needs and translate them into product specifications
  • Manage trade-offs between investment, schedule, and customer benefit, and drive prioritization
  • Negotiate terms and consumption practices of Monarch inside Google

Requirements For Product Manager, Cloud Monitoring and Monarch

Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within AI or ML
  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field (preferred)
  • 8 years of experience in a Product Management, Engineering, or Technology Strategy role (preferred)
  • Experience with cloud, SaaS, databases, APIs, and production environments, including SRE, developer operations (preferred)
