Description For Product Manager, Cloud Onboarding

Google Cloud is seeking a Product Manager to join their Cloud Onboarding and Product Led Growth team. This role is crucial in accelerating product-led adoption and expanded usage of Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As part of the Application Ecosystem organization, you'll work on engaging the developer community and enabling customers to onboard with a consistent experience.

The position requires interfacing with customers to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements. You'll be responsible for developing strategies and product definitions for Cloud Setup, launching features that support organizations in creating their technical foundation on Google Cloud, and enabling success for customers in highly-regulated industries.

Working cross-functionally, you'll collaborate with Customer Engineers, Outbound Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Solution Managers, and Developer Relations to drive adoption and business growth. The role demands a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, with a focus on guiding products from conception to launch.

Responsibilities For Product Manager, Cloud Onboarding

  • Interface with customers to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements
  • Develop strategies and product definitions for Cloud Setup for Google Cloud
  • Launch features that support Google Cloud's goal to make it easy for organizations to create and expand a technical, security, and access control foundation on Google Cloud
  • Launch features to enable customers in highly-regulated industries to be successful on Google Cloud
  • Drive adoption and business growth by partnering with Customer Engineers, Outbound Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Solution Managers, and Developer Relations to promote the capabilities of Cloud Setup

Requirements For Product Manager, Cloud Onboarding

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • 5 years of experience in a Product Management, Systems Architecture, or a Technology Strategy role (preferred)
  • Experience driving product ideas, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions (preferred)
  • Experience working on developer tools or open source projects (preferred)
  • Experience driving results in collaborative and cross-functional environments (preferred)
