Google's Core Information Retrieval team is seeking a Product Manager to lead crucial infrastructure initiatives. This role sits at the heart of Google products, focusing on unlocking data power at a global scale. The position involves establishing common deployment models across IR, streamlining machine provisioning, and creating unified cost transparency experiences. As part of the Core team, you'll build technical foundations behind Google's flagship products, working on underlying design elements, developer platforms, and infrastructure. Requirements For Product Manager, Core Information Retrieval

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field (preferred)
  • 10 years of experience in delivering technical presentations to senior leadership (preferred)
  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally (preferred)
  • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering (preferred)
  • Ability to take ownership for product lifecycle
  • Sound knowledge of product management
