Responsibilities For Product Manager, Core Information Retrieval

  • Gain a deep understanding of how Google's infrastructure and internal systems work and decipher their maximum capability
  • Understand how internal systems integrate to power exceptional products and help drive future direction
  • Regularly meet with and understand the goals of our clients and stakeholders (e.g., Search, GDM, Gemini, Geo)
  • Create and drive the product strategy for your area by anticipating what our clients and Google users are going to need
  • Collaborate with a group of talented teams across Core Data globally

Requirements For Product Manager, Core Information Retrieval

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field (preferred)
  • 10 years of experience in delivering technical presentations to senior leadership (preferred)
  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders (preferred)
  • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering (preferred)
  • Ability to take ownership for the product lifecycle
  • Sound knowledge of product management
