Description For Product Manager, Data Integration

Google is seeking a Product Manager for Data Integration to play a critical role in defining and driving the product strategy and roadmap. This role involves understanding customer needs, conducting market research, and collaborating with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver innovative solutions. The Product Manager will be responsible for the success and growth of Data Fusion and other products in the Data Integration space within the Google Cloud ecosystem.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing an understanding of the data integration landscape and identifying opportunities to innovate.
  2. Gathering insights into customer needs, pain points, and competitive offerings.
  3. Translating customer needs and market trends into a prioritized roadmap.
  4. Working with engineering and design teams to define product specifications, user experience, and technical architecture.
  5. Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to launch new features and drive adoption.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 1 year of experience developing or launching products in databases, analytics, big data, or related areas
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms and services
  • Experience with data integration tools and technologies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
