In this role, you will focus on products that offer planet scale network connectivity to our customers and drive a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure. You will work cross-functionally to influence strategy and roadmap and deliver products from conception to launch.

  • Define the product goal, strategy, and roadmap for cloud networking capacity planning
  • Drive cloud networking capacity planning efforts
  • Partner with cloud capacity planning team on monthly business reviews and quarterly budget cycles
  • Define new processes, Critical User Journeys (CUJs), and system requirements
  • Work with account teams to solicit demand signals and ensure network capacity requirements are addressed

Responsibilities For Product Manager, Google Cloud Network Capacity Planning

  • Define the product goal, strategy, and roadmap for cloud networking capacity planning and collaborate with executive stakeholders
  • Drive the cloud networking capacity planning efforts while working with cross-functional teams
  • Partner with the cloud capacity planning team on monthly business reviews and quarterly budget cycles
  • Define new processes, Critical User Journeys (CUJs), system requirements while partnering with cross-functional teams
  • Work with account teams to solicit demand signals and ensure network capacity requirements are addressed

Requirements For Product Manager, Google Cloud Network Capacity Planning

Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • Experience developing/launching products/technologies within Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools or complex supply chain networks (preferred)
  • Experience in product management in the Cloud Networking or related domain (preferred)
  • Experience in network capacity planning, consolidation, and delivery across cloud products (preferred)
