Google's gTech Users and Products (gUP) team is seeking a Product Manager to lead their user-to-user (U2U) community platform (Tailwind) and Product Experts engagement platform (Bento). This role is crucial in creating helpful and trusted experiences across Google's product ecosystem. The position involves advocating for users, managing community platforms, and driving next-generation solutions beyond basic maintenance.

As a Product Manager, you'll be responsible for defining product strategy, overseeing user journeys, and driving product development for critical self-service platforms. You'll work with a diverse group of stakeholders, including engineers, designers, and marketers, to bring innovative solutions to market. The role requires a strong background in product management, technical product development, and consumer-facing products.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of product management experience, with demonstrated success in taking technical products from conception to launch. You should excel at cross-functional collaboration, have strong analytical skills, and be able to communicate effectively with executive leadership.   • Define and advocate the product strategy for U2U support
  • Understand user and product needs, set strategic direction
  • Oversee the entire user journey and analyze touchpoints
  • Drive product development and innovation
  • Generate new ideas and prioritize features
  • Develop strategies to drive usage, engagement, and complete rates
  • Work with engineering, operations, product verticals and other teams

Requirements For Product Manager, gTech Users and Products, Community

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in product management
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • Experience working with consumer-facing products
  • Master's degree or PhD in a technology or business related field (preferred)
  • 3 years of experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on high-velocity projects
  • Excellent communication skills
