Google's Guided Support Experience (GSE) team is seeking a Product Manager to lead their generative conversational support solution across consumer products like Google Play, Pixel, and Google Workspace. This role sits within gTech Users and Products (gUP), focusing on creating helpful and trusted experiences across Google's product ecosystem. The position requires expertise in Generative AI and product management, with responsibilities spanning strategy definition, user experience optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. The role offers an opportunity to shape the future of Google's support systems, working with a newly forming team of 6 product managers and one designer. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in product management, technical understanding, and a proven track record of launching successful products. This position combines technical expertise with business acumen, requiring skills in stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and user advocacy. Responsibilities For Product Manager, Guided Support Experience, gTech, gUP

  • Define and advocate the strategy for your product area and understand user and product needs
  • Analyze every touchpoint across the self-help journey and optimize GSE
  • Drive product development and innovation and generate new ideas, prioritize features
  • Develop strategies to drive usage, engagement, and complete rates
  • Work with engineering, operations, product verticals and other teams to ensure GSE's success

Requirements For Product Manager, Guided Support Experience, gTech, gUP

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in product management and working with engineering to understand infrastructure design and trade-offs
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • Master's degree or PhD in a technology or business related field (preferred)
  • 3 years of experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, business, finance, and other stakeholders (preferred)
  • Experience turning broad, ambiguous problems into clear, well-structured projects
  • Track record of great collaboration within cross-functional teams
