Google is seeking a Product Manager I to join their Compliance and Identity team within Chrome. This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape the future of web browsing security and user identity management at a global scale. As a Product Manager, you'll be at the intersection of technology, user experience, and compliance, working on products that impact millions of users worldwide.

The role involves leading key initiatives in the Compliance and Identity space within Chrome, requiring close collaboration with various stakeholders including UX Design, Legal, Privacy, and other Google teams. You'll be responsible for guiding products from conception to launch, analyzing user metrics, and implementing improvements based on data-driven insights.

Chrome, as Google's web browser platform, is committed to building a better, more open web across all major platforms including iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome OS. The browser is developed as an open-source project, emphasizing speed, simplicity, and security.

This position requires a blend of technical expertise, product management skills, and strong communication abilities. You'll need to demonstrate experience in product development, ability to work with cross-functional teams, and skills in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to drive product decisions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of product management experience, proven ability to deliver technical products, and excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities For Product Manager I, Compliance and Identity

  • Own key efforts in the Compliance and Identity space in Chrome
  • Take responsibility for the overall planning, execution and success of launches
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders from Engineering, UX Design, UX Research, Data Science, Legal, and Public Relations
  • Analyze usage metrics, user feedback, and UX research outcomes to look for areas of improvement

Requirements For Product Manager I, Compliance and Identity

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • Experience with consumer-facing products
  • Knowledge of functional areas including engineering, user experience and user research
  • Ability to meld quantitative data, qualitative insights, and own product instincts
  • Ability to articulate product goals and document short-term plans and long-term strategy
  • Proven track record for product delivery
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and investigative skills
  • English proficiency
