Description For Product Manager I, Payments

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

The Payments team within Google creates Google's billing and payment architecture, user interface, merchant applications, and consumer applications for everything related to accepting and providing payments. We're building payment experiences for users in countries all over the world. Your curiosity for how payments work in many different countries will help take products from zero to one.

Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.

Responsibilities: • Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth. • Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly. • Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams on cutting edge technologies. • Develop solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.
