Description For Product Manager II, Core Data

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

The Core Data org in Core Systems is building Google's next generation data infrastructure and solutions to power 1P products. Our org, which has deep roots in Search and Ads, builds Google's core systems that enable developers across Google to quickly and easily develop and scale new products and features.

As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. The end goal will be to match you with the team that best aligns with your interests, experience, and where you will have the most impact.

Responsibilities include:

  • Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth
  • Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams on cutting edge technologies
  • Develop solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
